Keecha Finley

Keecha Finley is Co-Director of Leadership Development and a National Trainer for MixxedFit®. Keecha is a licensed MixxedFit Instructor since November 2014 and a National Trainer since April 2015. She is also a licensed Zumba instructor since June 2011 and is licensed in Zumba Kids and Zumba Toning.

Being a proud cancer (Hodgkins-lymphoma) survivor, Dance Fitness has helped Keecha to get back into living a healthy lifestyle while having fun at the same time!

When not teaching dance fitness she works with 4 year olds in the Pre-K program with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. Keecha has been working with children for over 20 years.
Denise RothmanDenise Rothman and is a licensed Professional Counselor with experience treating children, adolescents, and adults with various difficulties including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, ADHD, developmental disorders, and adjustment disorders. She offers a welcoming, non-judgmental approach to working with clients to help them achieve personal fulfillment and individual growth. Her experience includes working as an in-home therapist with children in the community for many years. She specializes in the Nurtured Heart Approach to parenting and is a certified trainer in the Nurtured Heart Approach with the Children’s Success Foundation.

Denise received her graduate degree at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia and earned a master’s degree in professional counseling. Her belief in changing both thought and behavior, people see personal growth and maintain more positive relationships and lifestyles.
Dr. Candice CreasmanDr. Candice Creasman has a Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling and Psychology and a Doctorate in Counseling and Counselor Education. She is an internationally-recognized meditation teacher and owns a private counseling group practice in Raleigh. Her courses and meditations have been featured on the award-winning platform, Insight Timer, and she is a founding teacher of Apple’s most popular meditation app, Aura.
Hadassah EleyBrian and Hadassah Eley have taught as Financial Peace University (Dave Ramsey) instructors in multiple sessions. They have made their way out of consumer debt in less than 3 years; all while dealing with “life”. Additionally, they both volunteer in the community as Deacons at their local church and as participants in NCCU’s Spiritual Dialogue and Development. Sharing the FPU principles, the gospel, and other hobbies come second to raising their three beautiful girls.
Katrina DoodaKatrina Dooda has always found joy in dance, movement, and music and became a fitness instructor after discovering Zumba. She fell in love with Pound shortly after. As an instructor, Katrina encourages her classes to get lost in the music, have fun, and laugh with each other. Katrina has a Master’s Degree in Public Health, and became a licensed Zumba instructor in 2014 and a certified POUND Pro in 2016. She is also an AFAA certified group fitness instructor, and was recently invited to become a local ambassador for Pound Headquarters, serving as an official Pound Tour Crew member.
Leigh SanerLeigh Saner is an Integrative Health and Wellness Coach with a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social and Behavioral Influences on Health from Gettysburg College. Leigh also holds several health and wellness certifications. She received her Integrative Health Coach Certification through Duke Integrative Medicine’s Integrative Health Coach Training Program, is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise and received her Worksite Wellness Specialist certification through the National Wellness Institute.

In January 2019, Leigh started her own company, Define YOU, LLC Health and Wellness Coaching, and through prioritizing and transforming her own health and wellness, it has become her mission to support others in putting their best foot forward in their own life.
Katie BaumanKatie Bauman is a life-long fitness aficionado with a particular passion for hardcore cardio! She has been certified to teach Insanity Live since September 2019 and currently teaches 3 times/week at various YMCA locations. Katie is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background in treating children and families impacted by trauma. In August 2020, she and her family will move to Atlanta so Katie can attend physician assistant school at Emory University.
Kate Martin
Kate is a veteran classroom teacher, Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner, national conference speaker, and author. She combines her passion for classroom teaching and JSJ by offering workshops and materials for educators and parents who may be interested in finding solutions for students in traditional and non-traditional educational settings. She also teaches self-help classes and practices Jin Shin Jyutsu at Plank Fitness. Kate currently teaches 5th grade at Claxton Elementary in Asheville, and lives in Asheville with her family, her cat Bagel and her dog Karma.
Brittney Williamson
Skye WilsonSkye graduated from Old Dominion University with a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling and UNC Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies. 

Skye believes everyone has the capacity for self-healing and change and that my role as a counselor is to support clients on their journey towards healing. Passionate about helping others through the daily challenges of life and trauma with special consideration of how power, oppression, and the collective unconscious affect our individual well-being.

Christina Dixon
Javonte BassJavonte Bass is the owner of Let’s Cope Counseling Services, a private mental health practice located in Raleigh, North Carolina. She is a graduate of Elizabeth City State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Afterward, she received a Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She is licensed in the state of North Carolina as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Anita HagansAnita Hagans is the owner of Inspired 2 Change Life Coaching, LLC and a Social Worker at Durham County DSS. She holds a Master’s in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University and Certified as a Life Coach from The Certified Life Coach Institute. She is passionate about women recovering from codependent relationships and holds monthly a Codepency Support Group for Women to release and be supported by like-minded women.
Yvonne AddisonM. Yvonne Addison is a former school counselor with over 16 years of experience working with youth. Yvonne received her License for Professional Counselors in 2007 whereby she has counseled youth, adults and couples in the areas of anger management, stress, grief, and relationship healing. Her practice, Life Restoration Services, PLLC, practices a biblical approach to counseling where restoring hope with compassion, patience and providing a listening ear for adults and children is of utmost importance. Life coaching was added to her practice In 2016 when she received her certification as a Certified Biblical Life Coach.
Felipe BlueFelipe Blue is a graduate from Springfield College with a Bachelors of Science in Human Services, and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on Marriage and Family Counseling from Webster University. Felipe is a mental health and substance abuse therapist with over 12 years of clinical experience.

Felipe is a founder of the non-profit program More Than Therapy via Ede Mwen Health Services located in Downtown Durham, which provides support and services for helping professionals such as business development, website design, marketing materials, training curriculums, workshops, and training programs.
Beaullah ChanakiraMaster of Arts in Education Clinical Mental Health Counseling. LPC, NCC, and member of American Mental Health Counselors Association. Currently working in Raleigh and Smithfield doing community mental health.
Malinda D. EvansMalinda Evans is the founder of Party of One, Inc. From African dance to hip hop and some in between, dancing is her passion. Malinda is also a nurse, RN, BSN, M. Ed, with 10 years of patient care and 16 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. After taking care of patients with diseases partially related to obesity and having been obese herself, Malinda decided to do something to help herself and others lose weight. Not being a fan of traditional workouts, Malinda began teaching line dance classes as a fun way to exercise. Beginner and advanced beginner line dances are taught using zydeco, rhythm and blues, pop, and hip hop music. No dance experience needed.
Ashley GilmoreAshley D. Gilmore is a Nationally Board Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate for the State of North Carolina. She has earned a Bachelors of Arts Degree Law & Society from Purdue University, Masters of Science in Counseling/Counselor Education from Indiana University and a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University.

Ashley is an outpatient therapist at Structured Family Intervention, LLC. where she works with homeless families in Durham. Additionally, Ashley is the owner of Gilmore Counseling and Consulting Services, PLLC where she works with couples and families to empower effective communication in all areas of a relationship including finances, in-laws, children, and sex.
Dr. Donte Corey, LPCS, NCCDr. Dontè R. Corey is a practitioner in the fields of mental health and education. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor. She has taught a variety of courses within clinical mental health counseling and counseling psychology programs in the United States and Canada. She currently manages a private mental health practice (True Living Counseling Services PLLC) that she opened in 2010. In her practice, she provides counseling to a varied population as well as licensure supervision. Dr. Corey has diverse research interests with the main one being multiculturalism. She has publications and presentations focusing around diversity, military trauma, and crisis management.
Benita PerkinsBenita is a widely acclaimed health and wellness expert focusing on the fitness needs of women and the special demands they must overcome to step into a lifetime of healthy living through fun, interactive lifestyle events. She has been featured in national and local media including television and radio talk shows in New York, Houston, and Philadelphia.

She’s worked with entities to provide fun interactive health and wellness events. In addition, Benita also blogs under “BennieGirl Health and Wellness Divas” targeted to women over 40, which provides a variety of healthy lifestyle tips and information. She produced “Taking It To A Higher Ground”, a fun, entertaining exercise DVD. This upbeat step and upper body workout is set to motivating gospel music.  Benita is a member of the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), and the National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM).

Her motto is “If we don’t take care of ourselves, who will?” Benita is a graduate of Wellesley College and New York University Stern School of Business.
Suzanne NelsonSuzanne is an AFAA certified, licensed Zumba instructor who has been helping people reach their fitness goals for over 20 years. She shares her love of dance-based fitness with all populations including active older adults, children and special needs.
Lisa LundyLisa took dance lessons since she was three years old, and have taken ballet, jazz and yes… she is a tapper! She toured Europe singing and traveled to 6 different countries performing.

She was in musical theater for years and has been in over 25 shows. She has also been in 3 of her own bands before moving to NC.
Lisa became licensed to teach Zumba in November 2018. Since becoming licensed, she has participated in many Zumbathons and has been subbing and teaching since. Lisa can’t wait to see where Zumba takes her in the future!!

Meranda Thaxton
Meranda “Randy” Thaxton is a licensed instructor, trainer, brand ambassador and creative team member for Commit Dance Fitness. She has also worked for MixxedFit as an instructor/National Trainer, as well as Zumba fitness (where she first got her start). Meranda has over 7 years of experience as a dance fitness instructor, and truly embodies what it means to be all about the community and the people. If you ask her what inspires and motivates her to teach, she will always say her students. “It was the fellow students who pushed me to become an instructor in the first place, I do this for them, I care about their fitness goals.”
Heidi WhiteHeidi White has been a ZIN™ Member since Jun 2009.  She is currently licensed to teach Zumba, Zumba® Toning, Aqua Zumba®, Zumba Sentao®, Zumba Gold®, Zumba Gold® Toning, Zumba® Kids & Kids Jr and Pound Fitness.
Tracy BrewerTracy obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice from North Carolina Central University. She graduated from NCCU in 1998. Right after undergraduate school Tracy, also attended graduate school at NCCU to obtain her Masters in Public Administrations.

Tracy has always had a love for dance, cheerleading, and the marching banding as a youth. Tracy has been a licensed Zumba Instructor since 2014. She currently has the Zumba Basic 2 Certification and is certified to teach Zumba Gold and Zumba Toning. She was recently certified to teach Aqua Zumba. Tracy inspires to expand her fitness endeavors with her brand T.OT.A.L. Fitness with Tracy B. (Targeting Obesity Through Active Lifestyle) Tracy has always had a love for life and Fitness. Tracy was highlighted in the January 2018 publication for her fitness accomplishments for the Triangle YMCA. Tracey has been the Social Media & Marketing Manager and Fitness Instructor for Mindful Bodies since 2014.
